Pie Crust
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/3 cup ice water
Combine the flour and sugar in a medium bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces then cut it into the flour and sugar with a pastry cutter or fork. Stir in the water until the dough starts to clump. Lightly knead the dough in the bowl until it forms a ball. Divide the ball into two parts and flatten into disks. Chill for about 30 minutes before rolling.
Makes two pie crusts.
