- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- ½ T minced garlic
- 3 t prepared yellow mustard
- ¾ c ketchup
- 2 – 3 t white sugar
- ¼ t salt
- Dash of pepper to taste
1.In a medium skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic, onion and pepper. Add and brown ground beef. Drain off liquids.
2.Stir in the mustard, ketchup and sugar, mixing thoroughly. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes to thicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
