Mom's Sugar Cookies
*1 c. softened butter

*1/2 t. almond flavoring

*1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*1/2 teaspoon almond extract
*1 large egg

Cream the sugar, butter, flavorings and egg well, sift the dry ingredients together and slowly add.  Mix well.  Refrigerate till firm.  Roll out on lightly floured board to 1/4 thick (or whatever you prefer) and cut in delightful shapes. Bake 7-8 minutes at 375.
